Time Warner Cable says WiMax is coming, this year:
Even as the cableco writes down its Clearwire investment, it says it will resell the wireless broadband service sometime in 2009.

Since nobody’s seen a mobile Internet device (MID) in the wild yet, hard to tell. But put Truphone on an iPod Touch, and well… you may want to ditch your cell.
