Alan, do you have any specifics about these claims? What market did this allegedly happen in? Would like to see the wording on your contract or term of service that explains the return policy, if you have it.

Clearwire is a scam. The supposed seven days you have to cancel the contract is not enough time since you have to actually have the equipment returned to Clearwire before the seven days are up and they do not accept the equipment at their stores. They do all they can to charge you extra fees. Their customer service is actually worse than their slow, problematic WiMax. Use Clearwire at your own risk.
